Veridian Growth is a new kind of agtech company. Our mission is to give the world's cities, towns, and communities the power to grow their own food irrespective of geography, wealth, and availability of arable land.
Our one concern about our mission is that it won't happen soon enough. Earth's food systems are on floating dangerously to the brink of collapse. Beyond ensuring all human beings can fulfill one of their basic human rights to food, Veridian Growth will release global supply chain pressures by hyper-localizing global food economies and empowering those with little control of the variety and price of their staple crops to have ultimate control.
To push human civilization into the next era, to help us be able to focus energies on solving society-defining challenges, we need to solve food. It must consume less energy, produce less waste, travel lesser distances, and be contained in smaller parcels. It must be able to scale exponentially as well as contract, quickly. It must support a world of diverse cultural preferences and a complete balanced nutritional diet. It must sustain a global population whose fondness and love of food has allowed us to accomplish so much.
Veridian Growth is an ambitious project that will push modular, vertical, and new age agricultural technology that has not been invented yet to new limits.
